My art speaks mainly of Contemporary Realism. My inspirations & subjects are mainly around me, surrounding landscapes and everyday objects. My palette consists of wide arrangements of earthly shades, with mixed earthy tones to achieve misty, tonalist and amalgamated effects in my & compositions.
As a God gifted self-taught artist, I grew up in the remote picturesque regions of North Western Frontier Province of Pakistan. The surrounding nature was always fascinating as were the plains & cultural richness of Lahore Punjab; a place where I truly discovered & explored my artistic talents.
With an extensive exhibiting experience back home; my move to Canada proved to be a great boost to my artistic expressions enabling me to continue practice & exhibit at several distinguished private, public venues, featured in several group shows, a solo show & found a home in numerous public & private collections.
Painting is a source of catharsis & my mode of self-expression. My subjects include landscapes, still life & portraiture. To me a work is finished when it vibes a sense of fulfillment & aesthetic achievement. To viewers of my work, I’d like them to have a sense of connection with the piece, while aesthetically intrigued.
