“Art“ has always been in my life, since I was a child, I’ve been surrounded by art and artists, so it’s only a natural progression that I end up being some form of artist. I have a formal education in Fine Art and in the past I was extensively involved in the graphic arts fields, but that has passed and now I am able to work in what I call the “fine arts“ – and I get to do it for me. Now that I am “retired“ I have been able to get back to “my“ art – whether it is 3D, 2D, photography or anything else that might catch my interest.

Currently though the emphasis has been primarily 2D and photography, with some interesting juxtaposition’s and results combining 2D with 3D. It’s never been about the meaning and/or authenticity in my work, it’s always been an integral part of me since day one. Primarily, loving what you do is first, and what the world likes comes second. I usually like what I do and if I want to make a statement about something, then that’s what I do. My 3D pen and ink masques are a prime example of this, there is always a tear on a cheek. It’s the process that I really love and because of that, I can lose myself in what I do and how I do it. Art has always been, and always will be, a big part of my life. My art is not done on any grand scale, in fact, most of it is actually quite small, but does size really matter?  My art in any form will always be a reservoir of my heart and mind, open to any who wish to see it.
