Join popular local artist Carol Shortt as she teaches you to make a needle felted floral piece.
This fun and easy beginner class guides you through the creation of a beautiful framed floral piece just in time for Mother’s Day!It is a dry technique which uses needles to manipulate wool fibers to make the finished project look like painting.

Fused Glass Dish with local glass artist Ingrid Zyma- Irvin
Join popular local glass artist Ingrid Zyma-Irvin as she teaches you to make a fused glass dish!
This fun and easy beginner class will allow participants to choose from an array of coloured glass where they will learn to grind and fuse glass together to construct a beautiful dish in time for Mother’s Day. The project comes with complimentary locally handmade soap!
Ingrid has been working with glass for 40 years and enjoys sharing her love of glass with her workshops.

Resin Art Workshop w Alison Gunn
In this workshop I will be showing how to properly measure and mix resin to create a smooth, clear base for a coaster. We will be using real autumn leaves to create a little piece of functional art, perfect for any fall-lover!
Dye Transfer Workshop w Aliki Mikulich
Paintable dyes are used to create colour swatches on paper that are cut and ironed on to fabric. These pieces of fabric can be made into wall art or clothing.
During this 2-hour introduction to the medium, we will experiment with different ways to use the dyes for various effects. Materials will be supplied to create a small finished piece.
Participants are encouraged to bring pair of sharp scissors for their own use.
